Is it a TV show? Is it GTA VI? Who knows? Whatever the case, Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson has ignited speculation following an Instagram post from the rapper, TV producer, and sometime actor.

The tease in question is a rather cryptic one, comprising only a Grand Theft Auto Vice City logo, which, presumably means that 50 Cent is involved with something related to Rockstar's juggernaut franchise.

“I will explain this later," Fiddy Insta-ed (as spied by Eurogamer). “This shit bigger than POWER trust me,” he added, referring to his crime drama TV series that came to an end in 2020, and in which he starred and executive produced.

Of course, there's little more beyond 50 Cent's cryptic tease, so whether he's hinting at a possible role in Grand Theft Auto 6, which is rumoured to feature a female protagonist and modern-day Vice City setting, or a GTA TV show, is anyone's guess.

And, 50 Cent has previous with video games, too, having starred in 50 Cent: Bulletproof in 2005 and 2009's 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. Should Mr. Half-a-Dollar be referring to Grand Theft Auto 6, however, it's highly unlikely we'll see anything from that until at least 2024 or even 2025, despite Rockstar assuring that development is “well underway”.

  • I'm guessing he's either playing a character or making some music/having his old songs involved in GTA VI, since it takes place in Vice City. Excited for more news either way.
  • TTWO shares up 3.4%, quite possible this sort of stuff helping that along. I'll take all the 50cents you got.
  • I would HATE a modern day Vice City. Modern Miami is a shithole and full of terrible people at this point. At least with a nostalgia lens of setting it back in the 80s or 90s would give it flair, more neon and color to the world. Now it's just indistinguishable from any other crack hive in the county. Bland and boring.
  • A shithole is a prime setting for a game about crime though yeah?
80s is so overdone now, like playing a ww2 shooter in 2005
  • Maybe he just wanted attention.
