Nacon and Daedalic Entertainment have announced that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be launching this May (having been delayed out of its September 2022 release window), telling the story of the little slippery grey fella, formerly known as the Hobbit, Sméagol.

An original take on the character from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Deadalic's Gollum game sends you on a journey through Middle-earth, climbing, leaping, and sneaking your way past a variety of dangers, using Gollum's wits and wiles. You'll also ultimately decide whether he succumb to the dark side of Gollum, or the kinder, gentler side of Sméagol.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on 25th May, with a Switch version coming at a later date. The game will be available digitally and physically.
