PUBG: Battlegrounds Update 23.1 is due to drop for consoles next week, bringing with it a new Survivor Pass and the return of Intense Battle Royale mode in a “newly expanded” form.

The new Survivor Pass is dubbed ‘The Big Score’, and sees the arrival of changes to the Pass XP system, so you can enjoy everything the latest pass has to offer. XP is now accumulated at a faster rate than before, so you can unlock rewards at a much swifter pace, compared to other Survivor Passes.

LABS: Intense Battle Royale has the fan-favourite, faster-paced twist on PUBG's battle royale making a comeback, with three new Vikendi and Sanhok areas for a “distinct change of scenery”. The AUG has also been added to AR weapon crates, in a bid to increase the tactical options at your disposal.

PUBG: Battlegrounds Update 23.1 is coming to PlayStation and Xbox from 20th April, with Intense Battle Royale available until 22nd June, while the Deston map has been added to the Ranked map pool, alongside Erangel, Taego, Miramar, Vikendi, Karakin, Sanhok, and Paramo among the weekly map rotation.
