During last night's PlayStation Showcase, Sony offered a look at some of the new titles on their way to PS VR2, revealing a first look at the Resident Evil 4 VR Mode DLC, VR action-shooter Synapse, and zombie blaster Arizona Sunshine II, among others.
RE4 VR Mode will have you stepping into the boots of Leon S. Kennedy, parrying attacks with your knife in the left hand, and shooting ganados with your handgun in the right. As for Synapse, you'll be able to dual-wield weapons, as you fight while trapped inside the mind of a twisted villain, on a high-stakes mission.
Synapse features a starry voice cast, including Metal Gear's Snake, David Hayter, and Mass Effect's Commander Shepard and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Rivet actor Jennifer Hale, as well as a range of PS VR2 features like eye-tracking and motion-controlled telekinesis abilities, and haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support during gunplay.
Synapse is due to launch for PS VR2 on 4th July.
Also heading to PlayStation VR2 in summer 2023 is tactical shooter Crossfire: Sierra Squad, while brutal tongue-in-cheek zombie shooter Arizona Sunshine II, and Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 are also on their way. Additionally, a Queen DLC pack for Beat Saber is out now.
