Rockstar today released a handful of new screens for their upcoming April release, Red Dead Redemption.
The new screens focus on the game's "advanced cover system" which is "crucial for ambushes and intense shootouts" and as always, the game looks as visually impressive as ever. Just look at the draw distance and high level of detail in the first picture... and the second... and the third... oh, and the fourth! This game definitely is ranking in my own personal top 5 most anticipated for the year. I loves me some westerns.
I must be honest, this new approach from Rockstar to give one of their games a good bit of coverage pre-relase, I much prefer. I wonder whether they'll go back to the usual closed doors policy on coverage when a certain Grand Theft Auto game comes out the pipeline?

Red Dead Redemption is riding into town on April 27th in North America and April 30th in Europe.
