Are you a bit tired of the Assassin's Creed series? Feel that you've stabbed too many Templars, clambered up too many buildings and dived into too many hay bales? Think again. Assassin's Creed III shakes things up considerably, chucking out what was stale and boring, revitalising what was overfamiliar and breathing new life into the series with some compelling new ideas.

But don't just take our word for it. If our recent preview hasn't convinced you then maybe Matt Turner can. Matt is a scriptwriter for the game, helping to ensure that new boy Connor's adventures feel just as exciting as his predecessors. Check out our interview for more on revolution, revitalisation and something else begining with R. Boom!

Assassin's Creed III launches on October 30th in North America and October 31st in Europe.

  • lol I love how these creative artists and writers keep talking about taking AC to the next level or going where other games haven't. I'll give them the fact that its cool the time era they're exploring is one that isn't explored very often... but c'mon. Half their story is already written for them. They just fill in the blanks and make it cohesive to their own plot. Its great, don't get me wrong. But its not something that's built entirely from the ground up, either. Either way, ACIII looks great. The series grew stale and really needed an overhaul near ACII's release. Glad to see it finally is getting one with a new engine.
