Remember when there was that Rambo game announced almost a year ago? It's still very much a thing and will be heading to Gamescom next month, in playable form on the showfloor in Cologne. Originally announced back in August, updates on the imaginatively titled Rambo: The Video Game have been non-existent since. So what's been going on?
"We have been quiet since we acquired the Rambo license last August," said Reef Entertainment Commercial Director Craig Lewis. "During this time we have been dedicated to creating a videogame for consoles and PC that will allow Rambo fans and gamers across the globe to really get under the skin of Rambo and wield his iconic weapon-set in battle."
That means you'll be wielding a bow with explosive arrow tips, fighting entire armies of Russians, ignoring pain, ignoring weather, living off the land and eating things that would make a billy goat puke. No release date has been locked down for Rambo: The Video Game yet, but the official site assures that it's 'coming soon'. Look! New art!
