Two Madden NFL 11 Screenshots Make It To The Endzone

Richard Walker

To us Brits, football (soccer to our American friends) is a game played by overpaid cavemen and potato-headed morons. To America, it's much the same, but the players are armoured-up and not nearly as potato-headed.

Try as we might, we just can't get our heads around the rules, and we've tried on numerous occasions. Honest. Maybe it's the way the British brain is wired.

Regardless of all this nonsense, there's no denying how good EA Sports' Madden NFL games have been over the years. That's why it's nice to see the first two shots from the upcoming 2011 instalment.

One is of LaDainian Tomlinson in his New York Jets gear, leaning and cutting through the Tennessee Titans' defense. See. We know the lingo, right?

The second shot is of San Diego Chargers' Philip Rivers, just looking a bit annoyed for some reason.

Madden NFL 11 is due out later this year.

  • meh, looks ok, theyre just screen shots after all - i dont even play american football games
  • I'm british and understand the rules! Besides that madden is hopefully going to be awesome, really looking forward to it :)
  • this brit really annoyed me.
  • lol 1galactus if there is a man's sport then its rugby. Football (english football) is the most popular sport so your saying most people in the world is a queer and a fag? (same thing isnt it)
  • Let's hope they can improve the gang tackling and maybe make the game a little more realistiic, it was great last year but it didn't have enough to keep me going.
  • I agree with Chazmo99. no matter what I did I couldn't get a pass interference penalty called. plus better trophies would be nice
  • i would love if they added the "tear the field up" thing again. that was the only thing better about 09 than 10 i though. i loved how the field looked all f'd up at the end of a game.
