Burn Zombie Burn! creators Doublesix Games has announced that it's bringing its spiritual successor All Zombies Must Die! to the PlayStation Network later this year, bringing it's own brand of zombie-blasting with arena-based combat blended with some light RPG elements.
Boasting 4-player co-op, which has you assuming control of either a Gamer, a Girl, a Mad Scientist or an Alien to fight the marauding undead hordes of Deadhill, you'll also be able to craft weapons like the Magma Storm Assault Rifle, Odin's Toothpick Katana and the Dragon's Breath Shotgun, while customising your character as you level-up and tackle numerous quests.
"After the success of Burn Zombie Burn, we've been looking forward to dishing up a new serving of undead craziness but this is no straight sequel," said Jim Mummery, Creative Director at Doublesix. "All Zombies Must Die! has its own unique ingredients with weapons-based arena combat, weapon crafting, character development, a whole lot of questing and much much more - all mixed in with a huge portion of zombie action."
All Zombies Must Die! will be blasting up the undead in quarter 4 2011. Check out the first images in the gallery and a trio of short trailers below.
