Honestly the trailer gives me "same ol same ol" vibes for an MMO. Of course we have to see more but as of right now I'm not that persuade sadly. Was hoping for this to be good but it really is giving me "will be dead in a year or two" vibes lol.

There is a new trailer for Dune: Awakening, the upcoming online multiplayer survival game from Conan Exiles developer Funcom.
The trailer debuted at last night’s Game Awards, and it gave us a good look at the world on offer, which appears to have taken a lot of visual cues from Denis Villeneuve’s recent film. The description reads:
“Witness the epic scale of Dune: Awakening, an Open World Survival MMO inspired by Frank Herbert’s sci-fi masterpiece and the award-winning blockbuster film by Dennis Villeneuve. Ascend from searching for water and building shelters against storms to controlling the flow of spice in the top echelons of Arrakis.”
Dune: Awakening is out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. We don’t have a release window just yet, but you can sign up for the game’ open beta here.
