Bandai Namco has announced that Digimon Survive has shipped half a million units.
Released in July earlier this year, Digimon Survive was an awful long time coming for fans of the creature collection franchise, having first been announced back in 2018, before being delayed several times.
Now, the game, which blends the combat of turn-based tactical RPGs with the storytelling of a visual novel, has gone on to sell over 500,000 units in just four months. Which, given the blend of genres, isn't bad at all.
“Wow! Digimon Survive has sold over 500,000 Units Worldwide! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Digimon games,” reads the statement from Bandai Namco.
Digimon Survive is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
