Striking Distance Studios has detailed its post-launch content plan for The Callisto Protocol. It includes a New Game+ mode, a Hardcore mode, and story DLC.

There will be six months of content coming to the game, starting on 7th February, 2023. The Hardcore mode and New Game+ will be free. The story DLC won’t be, and it will arrive in summer, next year.

If you are a season pass owner, then you will get the story DLC for no extra cost, and you will also get the outer way skin collection, the contagion bundle, the riot bundle – all of which sound delightful.

Check out our review of The Callisto Protocol, in which Rich Walker says:

“The Callisto Protocol is a stunning visual showcase and a fantastic example of how to do a cinematic experience right. It can be frustrating at times, the frame rate is prone to moments of treacly choppiness, and that final boss is a load of old arse, but none of these things preclude The Callisto Protocol from being a bravura slice of relentlessly scary sci-fi that will duly shred your nerves and tingle your spine.”

The Callisto Protocol is out now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

  • Those new death animations should be free too.
  • Hardcore mode? Maximum Security Mode is already insanely difficult, at least it is for me lol.
  • Sync the trophy list for the PS4 version first. Lazy, lazy, lazy...
  • I will get it ALL for $19.99-29.99 on a Black Friday not far from now. Maybe next year. We'll see.
  • Great time play so far. Got the pass just because of the past work of the glen s. The new game will be great to play. New story will add to the game time.
