A third-person hack-and-slash adventure built using Unreal Engine 5, Gori: Cuddly Carnage is set for a 2023 release, developer Angry Demon Studio and publisher Wired Productions have announced.
Set in a futuristic neon world, you play as titular feline hero Gori, battling mutated toys while riding your “death-dealing” hoverboard. Tasked with saving your “cuddly crew”, you'll engage in ‘skate-n’-slash' hoverboard combat, in a bid to avoid “cat-astrophe”.
Gori: Cuddly Carnage is slated to release sometime in 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. You can check out the new trailer below.
I got to play this at pax east back in April. Already felt like a complete game and pretty fun/smooth to control. Also thought the game was generally funny despite the try-hard meme style I expected due to the visuals
