EA has announced a new multiyear partnership with Italian football club Juventus, bringing the official name, logos, and kits to FIFA 23.
In recent years, Juventus has had an exclusive partnership with Konami, appearing only in the Japanese publisher's PES (and eFootball) series. In the last few FIFA games, they've been replaced with the unlicensed Piemonte Calcio, with all the correct players, but none of the official kits or logos.
Now, things have shifted back in the other direction, with EA Sports becoming Juventus' exclusive ‘Sport Video Gaming Partner’. This partnership will see the club's logo, name, and kits once again included in FIFA 23, as well as an authentic recreation of the Allianz Stadium, the club's home ground.
“We’re excited to reaffirm our deep commitment to Italian football through this exclusive partnership with Juventus,” said EA's David Jackson. “This phenomenal club means so much to us and our fans, and will enable EA SPORTS to continue to deliver the most authentic and comprehensive interactive football experiences possible in FIFA 23 and beyond.”
FIFA 23 is launching on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on 30th September 2022.
