Capcom has revealed that iconic Street Fighter characters such as Ryu, Chun-Li, and Guile will have their classic looks available in Street Fighter 6.
Ryu and Chun-Li were confirmed for Street Fighter 6 when the game was first shown off, with Guile announced later that month. However, each fighter has been redesigned for the Street Fighter 6. Ryu now goes topless, and sports a cracking beard. Guile also sports a beard, along with a flight suit, while Chun-Li has dropped the padded shoulders and studded bracelets.
Anyone mourning the classic designs needn't fear, however, as they will still be available in Street Fighter 6. Chun-Li is back with her spikes, puffy shoulders, hair bun covers, and darker blue outfit, while Ryu is clean-shaven and has put his top back on. Finally, Guile sports his camo trousers, boots, and tank top. Lovely stuff. You can check out the images down below.
Street Fighter 6 is due to launch in 2023, with rollback netcode and crossplay confirmed.
