FMV game aficionado Wales Interactive, has announced Mia and the Dragon Princess, an “offbeat action-adventure” starring Paul McGann (Withnail & I, Doctor Who, Alien 3), Brian McCardie (Time, Rob Roy), MyAnna Buring (Kill List, Ripper Street), Chinese Kickboxing black belt Dita Tantang, and Noa Bleeker as the eponymous Mia.
Written and directed by Dead Pixel Productions' Marc Price, the FMV adventure revolves around plucky barmaid Mia, as her life is thrown into disarray when the mysterious Marcshanda (played by Tantang) turns up at her workplace, on the run from a gang of violent thugs, led by McGann's dangerous crime boss, Walsh.
When Mia's boss Matthew (McCardie) is injured, the stakes become high, as Mia and her allies end up on the run from Walsh and his cronies. As ever, choices ensue, with branching paths leading to one of ten different endings. The game includes fight coordination by Marcus Shakesheff of Hanna, Wonder Woman, and Game of Thrones fame, and stunts by Taekwondo instructor Aaron Gassor.
Introducing ‘Real Time Attribute Tracking’, which adapts to your choices as the story unfolds, Mia and the Dragon Princess will be punching and kicking its way to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices in Q4 2022.
