The new Stormfall chapter has launched for Star Trek Online on consoles, reuniting cast members from Star Trek Voyager, Deep Space Nine, and Discovery, for a fresh dose of content. The latest update sees Captain Killy (Mary Wiseman) and her Terran forces calling upon a dangerous enemy from their past.

As such, you'll need to team up with Marshal Janeway (Kate Mulgrew), Admiral Leeta (Chase Masterson), and Andorian rebel, ‘Rae-Yeet’ (Noah Averbach-Katz) to put an end to the Terran Empire's nefarious plans. Stormfall includes two new featured episodes (‘Blueshift’ and ‘The Calling’), and a remastered Starfleet tutorial featuring upgraded environments and interactions with the Borg and Admiral Janeway.

‘Forged in Fire’ also rebuilds the fan-favourite five-player ‘The Assault on Terok Nor’ ground Task Force Operation (TFO), while anyone who has completed a number of Mirror Universe episodes and TFOs can unlock the Kuumarke Visionary Ground Set, available as part of a ‘Heart of the Storm’ special event.

Finally, Star Trek Online annual Lohlunat Festival is due to return to the tropical planet of Risa from 30th June to 30th July, with various summer games and a competition to earn the all-new Cnidarian Defender [T6] shop. The craft is based on the first alien begins the crew encounter in Star Trek: The Next Generation, and it can be flown in saucer and jellyfish modes.

Mini-games include Powerboard Races, the Biathlon, Horga’hn Hunting, Scavenging with Sovak, and a Dance Party, and you can also earn credits to spend on various items from the Summer Event Store. These items include baseball uniforms, floaters and powerboards based on the Andorian Blue Bores baseball team, and new Andorian themed modules, kit frames, Tribbles, and Caracals.

Star Trek Online: Stormfall is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One now, with the Lohlunat Festival due to return from next week.
