Humble Games and developer Jaob Dzwinel have announced that Midnight Fight Express, an isometric brawler set within a dark criminal underworld, will be coming to consoles and PC this August.

Playing as Babyface, a former member of the criminal contingent, you'll find yourself lured back into ‘the life’ by a mysterious AI drone. What follows is a mission of vengeance for a lost past, as you fight across the city before sunrise, in a bid to stop the crime syndicates from taking over.

In Midnight Fight Express, you'll be able to punch, kick, dodge, counter, and execute finishers, in “fluid and visceral combat”, motion-captured by stunt performer, Eric Jacobus. You can level up, power up, and upgrade Babyface via the game's skill tree, unlocking new moves and developing a signature fighting style.

You can also customise the game's difficulty, as well as your character's appearance, using a range of more than 150 cosmetic items and skins. Midnight Fight Express will be launching for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 23rd August 2022. You can give the release date trailer a look below.

  • Impressive to see what 1 developer can do, wonder how long it took him.
