Today has seen the launch of Battlefield 2042's delayed Season One, titled Zero Hour, with the new Exposure map set within the Canadian Rockies, new weapons, gadgets, new vehicles, and a new Specialist.

However, with the advent of the first season, players have been running into errors, preventing them from being able to actually enter the game. At the time of writing, developer DICE is working to fix the issue. “We're looking at Load Persistence Data Errors that have just appeared for players launching the game,” the studio tweeted, adding: “Sit tight, we're on it.”

Battlefield 2042 - Season One: Zero Hour includes a new map, vehicle killer Specialist Ewelina Lis with her signature rocket launcher and remote-controlled missiles, the RAH-68 Huron and YG-99 Hannibal gunships, Ghostmaker R10 Crossbow, mid-range BSV-M Marksman Rifle, and Smoke Grenade Launcher.

A free Battle Pass with various cosmetic items, and a paid Premium version with legendary skins and melee takedowns, is also available. Battlefield 2042 - Season One: Zero Hour is now available across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
