I played it a PaxEast, and thought it was pretty tough, and not in a good way. But those demos don't have great tutorials, and so there might be a bit more flexibility once I know how to use specials better. I was getting a Lords of the Fallen vibe, which I wasn't much of a fan.

Good news, soulslike fans! Dolmen launches today on PS4 and PS5, offering up a unique sci-fi spin on the action-RPG genre, with just a dash of cosmic horror too.
Set in a sci-fi universe where humanity has colonised the stars, you find yourself battling across the distant alien planet of Revion Prime, attempting to not only survive the dangerous creatures that block your path, but also unravel a mystery involving corrupt corporations, unknown dimensions, and an alien species known as the Vahani.
Dolmen was one of the first games announced under Koch Media's new publishing label Prime Matter, and is developer Massive Work Studio's first major console game.
