Motive Studio, the studio behind the upcoming Dead Space remake, is hosting another developer livestream later this week, this time focusing on art design.
The livestream will take place at 18:00 GMT / 10:00 PT / 13:00 on Thursday 12th May, and will offer up a behind the scenes look at the development of the Dead Space remake, with art director Mike Yazijian and his team talking through lighting, environment design, characters, VFX, and more. You can watch on YouTube or Twitch.
EA and Motive Studio have been surprisingly transparent in the development of the Dead Space remake, showing fans plenty of unfinished content and true behind-the-scenes looks at early development. The first livestream showed off the new dynamic skin peeling on Necromorphs, as well as the overhauled zero gravity system, while the second livestream focused on sound design, atmosphere, and audio. Motive Studio even went as far as to announce it had altered the weapon sounds in response to fan feedback.
Dead Space is due to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in early 2023.
