Sniper Elite 5 Gameplay Video - 13-Minutes of Brain-Splattering Headshots and Chateau Infiltration

A wee while back, we had the chance to go hands-on with Sniper Elite 5, shooting our merry way through the entirety of the game's second mission, set in the idyllic French countryside. Here, there's a chateau teeming with Nazis, protecting the plans for something called ‘Operation Kraken’.

Working with the French Resistance, it's down to heroic sniper Karl Fairburne to once more charge into the breach, seize the plans, and make it out alive. And, in the hands of yours truly, that proved much harder than it really should have been. Look, right - I raised the alarm, and fucked everything up, pretty much from the outset.

Consequently, there's a lot more action than you'd normally get from Sniper Elite 5, and only a modicum of the stealth that I'd recommend. Did our Karl survive and extract, or did he end up smeared across a field in France? You can take a look at our gameplay below, and see for yourself.
