Rebellion has released a new Sniper Elite 5 trailer, offering a behind the scenes look at how the development team is striving for greater authenticity and realism for the upcoming shooter's weapons and vehicles. This extends to the raft of customisation options you'll have for weaponry, with myriad attachments to experiment with.
Working alongside military historian Bruce Crompton, known for the ‘Combat Dealers’ TV show, Rebellion enlisted his help in ensuring “maximum authenticity”, as well as using thousands of reference images and audio recordings from the Imperial War Museum and Royal Armouries Museum World War II archives.
Weapon customisation in Sniper Elite 5 will include the ability to switch out and change stocks, magazines, receivers, barrels, scopes, iron sights, and materials, tailoring your arsenal to suit your preferred playstyle. You'll also be able to make changes and unlock new options out in the field via Workbenches found in each map.
You can find out loads more in the latest trailer below. Sniper Elite 5 will be coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on 26th May. Pre-orders grant access to the ‘Target Führer’ campaign mission, ‘Wolf Mountain’, while the Deluxe Edition includes Season Pass One and the P.1938 Suppressed Pistol.
@Unger - we live a world of perpetual desires regarding money and gains, sad! I'll buy and play this, used/on sale and no season pass. I have since stopped buying most, if not all DLC/passes, unless it is a superb game I thoroughly enjoy. Those are very few and far between!
