Two Point Campus Hit By Three Month Delay

Matt Lorrigan

The release of Two Point Campus has been delayed from May to August, developer Two Point Studios has announced.

Following on from the excellent Two Point Hospital, Two Point Campus sees players running their very own university, choosing from a variety of wacky college courses to offer, and attempting to keep students happy and healthy. The game was originally due to launch next month, on 17th May, but has now been pushed back to August.

“Our ambition from the start has been to release Two Point Campus across all PC and console platforms simultaneously to the quality and standard that our community expects from us. This means we will need a little bit more time with Two Point Campus to make sure we deliver the best possible game that can be enjoyed equally on all platforms”, said game director Mark Webley. “We will use these additional three months to optimise Two Point Campus for all platforms.”

In the meantime, Two Point Studios has released a new video on Two Point Campus, talking about the developer's vision for the game, and showing off plenty of new gameplay in the process. You can check that out down below.

Two Point Campus will now launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 9th August 2022.

  • Better delayed for a few months, than let history repeat itself and end up as a mess like the original was at launch, which then took several months to make it playable without it crashing and corrupting your saves on a frequent basis.
  • All developers need to take this approach. as much as we may want the game it is far better to get a good game on release than a buggy mess.
  • @ didleslie, publishers too are at fault on broken game releases, EA forcing out few bioware games for example
