I love the Kurosawa/older samurai film vibes here. Curious to see how punishing this game is. Looks great!

Publisher Devolver Digital has announced that Trek To Yomi, the cinematic side-scrolling samurai action-adventure, will be launching in May, with pre-orders now open with a 10% off discount.
Boasting a black and white art style inspired by the classic samurai movies of Akira Kurosawa, Trek To Yomi sees you playing as Hiroki, a young swordsman embarking upon a journey of retribution, as he seeks to avenge his dying master.
You can take a look at the new extended gameplay video below for a look at the opening of Hiroki's quest, as the lone samurai forges a path through fierce enemies. Trek To Yomi launches for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on 5th May.
