If you're not hyped enough for Elden Ring already - and we imagine the uniformly glowing reviews might have helped - then perhaps a look at ‘The Lands Between’, developer FromSoftware's astounding open world, might give you a boost.
As ever, with a major game release like this, we can't help but be compelled to make a comparison video, sticking all of the versions side-by-side to see how they measure up. We've done it again for Elden Ring, taking a look at the game on last and current-gen, while giving the game's Performance and Quality modes a run for their money.
This is Elden Ring pre-day one patch, but the update's arrival is unlikely to make all that much of a difference to the game's overall visual fidelity. We might follow up post-launch, should the patch actually have a major impact on performance and graphics. Otherwise, our comparison offers a really good look at the game ahead of launch on Friday.
Elden Ring hits PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on 25th February, and you can give our review a look here.
