UK Retail Charts: Dying Light 2 Clambers Up to Number One on PS4 and PS5

Matt Lorrigan

Another week in the UK retail charts, and last week's big new release has dominated sales across both PS4 and PS5.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human manages to take the top spot on both PS4 and PS5 in its debut week. On PS5, the zombie parkour title knocked Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection down to number three, just below FIFA 22, while Guardians of the Galaxy rose two places to number four. Far Cry 6 and Riders Republic both also climbed up a couple of spots, while Rainbow Six Extraction and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart both dropped more dramatically this week.

On PS4, Dying Light 2 overtook FIFA 22 for the top spot, pushing down GTA V, The Last of Us Part II, and Call of Duty: Vanguard in the process. It Takes Two had a strong week, re-entering the charts at number nine, following some discounts at retail, while PlayStation VR Worlds continues its unusually strong start to 2022.

  • Few questions not having played original

    1. Is the first worth playing first (story wise)

    2. Is this a buy, wait for sale or avoid

    3. Is this just a parkour game or is it more zombie killing (im not expecting days gone level of killing but not keen on parkour with hardly any zombie interactions)

Again having not played original confused what type of game this is by trailers
  • Great game. I have not had any real issues yet. 20 hours in. Mostly single player though. Plays awesome. Alot to keep leveling up and watching for but after a while it becomes second nature.
