Tomorrow will finally see the long-awaited release of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, and, with the game originally announced for last-gen consoles as far back as 2018, you might be wondering how the game shapes up on older hardware, compared to current console platforms.
It'll come as no surprise that Dying Light 2 looks rather good on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but how do the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions bear up? And what of the various graphical modes available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S? How do they compare to one another?
Crucially, which one should you go for? Is it worth the drop in resolution to play at 60 frames-per-second? Should you favour 4K at 30fps? And what of Quality Mode with its ray tracing? We have a go at answering all of these questions and more, comparing Dying Light 2 Stay Human to death.
Check out the results in out comparison video below (bearing in mind you'll need a 4K display to really see the differences). Dying Light 2 Stay Human launches for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on 4th February, and you can give our review a look here, then look forward to five years of post-launch support for the game.
