Square Enix has released another bunch of trailers for Life is Strange Remastered Collection, this time putting Life is Strange: Before the Storm Remastered under the microscope with a new comparison video, showcasing the various refinements being made to the game.

Like Life is Strange Remastered, Life is Strange: Before the Storm Remastered will feature revamped visuals for both characters and environments, “vastly improved” character animations using facial motion-capture, proper lip sync, refined gameplay puzzles, upgrades to the game engine and lighting, and more.

A spin-off to 2015's Life is Strange, 2017 spin-off prequel Life is Strange: Before the Storm charts the friendship between a pre-blue haired Chloe Price and best friend Rachel Amber. There are four new videos - including a side-by-side comparison with the original - to check out below, ahead of the game's launch next week.

Life is Strange Remastered Collection releases for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, PC, and Stadia on 1st February.

  • I'm probably in the minority, but I kinda preferred Before the Storm over the original game. Also the licensed music by Daughter was much better imo.
  • @Unger. I absolutely am with you on that one. Before the Storm is my favorite in the series.
