Rumbleverse Delayed, 40-Player 'Brawler Royale' No Longer Releasing in February

February is a very crowed month so it's hardly surprising this has moved to another spot, later on in the year. I'll be interested to see how this goes but unless the devs hit the ground running and knock it out of the park, Rumbleverse will sink like a stone and quickly disappear.

Developer Iron Galaxy has announced that Rumbleverse, its free-to-play 40-player ‘brawler royale’ game, has been delayed and will no longer launch on its planned February release date.
Revealed during The Game Awards in December, a first look at the game was showcased, with a release date set for next month. “During the First Look play session, it was hilarious and inspiring to see people land their first elbow drop from the top of a skyscraper,” Iron Galaxy writes on its blog.
“Those are the moments you dream about when you work on a game. The thing about game development is that plans have a way of changing…”, it added. “Today, we are announcing that we have decided not to launch Rumbleverse on February 15.”
The extra time will enable Iron Galaxy to “perfect the experience”, as the studio looks to foster a long-term community around the game. “We’re going to take the time to make sure we can get that right,” the developer assured.
Of course, Early Access will also no longer be available on 8th February, and anyone who paid for the Early Access Pack will be receiving refunds. A new release date for Rumbleverse has yet to be determined.
