Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves launches for PlayStation 5 this week, bringing together 2016's Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and 2017's Uncharted: The Lost Legacy with various bells and whistles, including a visual uplift, DualSense controller features, and three different modes to choose from.

With Fidelity, Performance, and Performance+ modes on offer, we sprung into action for another comparison video, seeing how each measures up on PS5, with Fidelity offering 4K at 30fps, Performance presenting upscaled 4K at 60fps, and Performance+ pushing the frame rate to 120fps, lowering the resolution to 1080p.

Not only have we put the different PS5 modes side-by-side, but we also measured up the upgraded version of the game with the PS4 originals, with interesting results. Is there a huge difference between Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy on PS4 compared to the Legacy of Thieves remasters for PS5? You'll need a 4K display to see for yourself.

Check out our comparison video below. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves launches for PlayStation 5 on 28th January, with a $10/£10/€10 upgrade path for owners of the PS4 versions of Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy, and the option to transfer your PS4 save to PS5. • So apart from the load times it looks like there’s not really any noticeable changes, especially while actually in the action. Short load times is a huge bonus for me, whereas the additional dualsense functionality is a big no-no. As long as I can turn the dual sense features off I think I might make a revisit.
  • The 60 FPS is reason enough for me, I'm gonna enjoy it tomorrow!
