Due to launch later this month, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will support PS4 save data transferred from Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Sony and Naughty Dog have confirmed. Your progress and trophies can be moved across to both games, using data uploaded to the PS Plus cloud.
As stated in an FAQ for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, “before starting the game, you must have previously transferred a valid Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End or Uncharted: The Lost Legacy PS4 saved game file to your PS5 using the 'Transfer saved data using PlayStation Plus Cloud Storage' method.”
A step-by-step guide notes that story progress and trophies can be moved across to Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection on PS5 from either Uncharted 4 or The Lost Legacy's main menu. This involves going to Story, then selecting ‘Import Game from PS4’. You can then choose your PS Plus PS4 cloud save and move it to the game.
From the Save screen, it's then simply a case of creating New Game Data for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, and picking up where you left off.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection launches for PlayStation 5 on 28th January, priced $49.99/£44.99, or via the $10/£10 upgrade path for anyone who owns Uncharted 4: A Thief's End or Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
