Released for Apple Arcade in June 2020, Little Orpheus, the award-winning side-scrolling adventure from Dear Esther developer The Chinese Room, will be coming to consoles and PC this March. An episodic affair upon its original release, the game will release in its entirety, with an additional bonus ninth episode, titled ‘A Rush of Onion to the Head’.

Casting you in the role of Soviet cosmonaut Ivan Ivanovich, Little Orpheus has you delving into the interior of an extinct volcano in the eponymous exploration capsule, before vanishing. As Comrade Ivanovich, you'll visit lost civilisations, undersea kingdoms, prehistoric jungles teeming with dinosaurs, and other mystic lands.

Inspired by classic flicks like Flash Gordon, Sinbad, and The Land That Time Forgot, Little Orpheus will arrive on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 1st March 2022, promising the “definitive edition” of the game with remastered visuals, effects, moves, animations, and the ‘Lost Recordings Mode’.
