Pre-order details and cover designs for WWE 2K22 appear to have leaked, thanks to a report from TechnikNews, with Rey Mysterio as the cover star.

This should perhaps come as little surprise, considering how prominent the masked wrestler has been in all of the WWE 2K22 marketing so far - from the very first announcement trailer, to the first gameplay trailer, and even the new features trailer, Rey Mysterio has been the first wrestler to appear onscreen each time. This year's 2K Showcase is also focusing on Mysterio's career.

TechnikNews also reports that the game is set to launch on 11th March, with three days early access beginning on 8th March. The Deluxe Edition (pictured below) includes the game's Season Pass, along with an “Undertaker Immortal Pack” as a pre-order bonus, which includes three additional Undertaker personas - Phantom Mask Undertaker, Lord of Darkness Undertaker, Boneyard Match Undertaker.

Of course, none of this information is officially confirmed, but with 2K having promised more WWE 2K22 news in January, it's likely we won't have to wait too long for an official announcement. You can see cover designs for both the standard and deluxe editions of the game down below.
