Developer Blue Isle Studios, an outfit best known for Slender: The Arrival, has announced that LEAP, its 60-player sci-fi shooter, will be coming to PlayStation “soon”. Due to release on PC in February, the PS5 and PS4 versions of LEAP will no doubt be too far behind.
Dropping 60 players onto the battlefield, the sci-fi FPS pits the United Earth Defense Coalition (UEDC) against the Exo-Terrans, with each team boasting four unique classes to choose from. Each class has its own stats and epic ability, the latter of which include the likes of orbital lasers, support shields, and more.
Featuring various customisation options for characters and vehicles, as well as an expansive arsenal of weapons, LEAP will also include a range of traversal tools for zipping across the game's alien worlds, such as grappling hooks, jetpacks, hoverboards, and even a mechanical moose. Yep.
LEAP will be “coming soon” to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC, potentially in February 2022. Check out the announcement trailer below.
