Announced back in September, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection has now been given a release date for PlayStation 5 and PC. The bundle includes the singer-player story experiences from Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and is due to arrive in January 2022.

Developer Naughty Dog has also shared details on the graphical updates coming to the PS5 versions of the games, with a Fidelity Mode to offer 4K resolution at 30fps, while Performance Mode serves up a 60fps frame rate, while slightly lowering the resolution. Performance+ Mode, meanwhile, targets 120fps on supported displays, at 1080p.

On PS5, load times will be “near instant”, while Spatial 3D Audio will also feature, as well support for DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive trigger features. You can take a look at the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection in the trailer below, which arrive alongside digital pre-orders on the PlayStation Store.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be coming to PS5 and PC on 28th January 2022, priced $49.99/€49.99, with a $10 upgrade path available for anyone who already owns either Uncharted 4: A Thief's End or Uncharted: The Lost Legacy on PlayStation 4. • Isn't it great, that you can play all the best games from last generation and the one before on your 500 dollars sought-after console? :D
  • I hate all these upgrade payments they expect people who already own the game to pay. Xbox is so much better in this respect. Buy the game once and it auto-adjusts to the console you are playing on.
  • Basically all this time that the PS5 was in the works, no companies made games for it at launch and the immediate future after, only they decide to find a scummy business model to milk the F&$*ing hell out of consumers with little work/effort. Sounds like today's world indeed!

    Sound your problem sweat heart.
  • Meh, uncharted overrated anyway
  • Uncharted 4 was alright. I doubt they will ever make another good one. Drake is in his 40s.
  • KOTDE - That's right, stroke my ego, make me purr!
  • It's time for a new Uncharted, perhaps a Cassy or Sam based game or a prequel with Nate (like Golden Abyss)
  • I played all the Uncharted games and these 2 were the worst ones in my opinion
  • I never played The Lost Legacy and I dont think I got around to getting the A Thief's End platinum, so I may actually go for this. I don't have a copy of Uncharted 4 anymore though... so I dunno if it'll be worth it.
  • Uncharted 4 is long game and boring
  • @EmptyFibers:
The 10 dollar upgrade was the same for PS4, though. Stupid back then, stupid now. *Somehwhat* excusable back then because it was a completely different platform. Inexcusable now, especially if the games also release on PC and therefore have adjustable graphic settings.
  • I don't understand the people complaining about all the "remasters and rereleases." Yes, there are a lot of them, there always have been on sony consoles. However, there are a good handful of great games already which is pretty rare for a consoles first year. (Ratchet & Clank, Returnal, Demon Souls, and Death Loop (I think it's also on PC) are all good games.)

In regards to the upgrade path stuff I really think Sony needs to adopt more of Xbox's practices... They never will though because people will continue to pay for these upgrade paths.

So they did that before on the PS4, wow, but not a surprise! I played UC4 way back when it first came out, but never paid much attention after that. I am not surprised to see the same thing being done again. It is a greedy, cash grabbing world, and consumers get shafted a lot.
  • I can't really see there being much difference between the ps4 and ps5 versions. There wasn't really much difference between the ps4 uncharted collection and the original ps3 versions
  • If you don't like remasters then don't buy them. Companies listen to sales numbers.
  • Wait, so if you have only Uncharted 4, you can upgrade for €10,- and get 2 PS5 games? As far as paid upgrades go it seems like the best one yet.

The upgrade doesn't work for the Playstation Plus Uncharted game btw
  • @"The upgrade doesn't work for the Playstation Plus Uncharted game btw"

Yeah, blocking the upgrade - free or paid - for PS+ version seems to be a new stupidity. Like "excuse me for taking advantage of a service you kind of force me to pay for anyway and wanting to get some games for your new flagship console that lacks reasons to use it."
  • I might play them on PC since mine destroys both the new consoles, but I was never really into Uncharted. Skipped it entirely on PS3, tried The Nathan Drake Collection on ps4. 1 was decent but the latter half of 2 was so bad it turned me off even trying more. And HZD on PC proved that even better visuals and performance can't help a bad game.

    So I don't know...
