Codemasters and EA have today confirmed that GRID Legends will be launching in February 2022, the latest entry in the racing series offering 250 events via its Career mode, an “epic” and “gritty” story mode called ‘Driven to Glory', the return of fan-favourite Drift and Elimination modes, and new Electric Boost racing.
GRID Legends will also feature more than 100 vehicles at launch, alongside a range of classic tracks and city locations to tear around, with cross-platform multiplayer support. The game will also include a Race Creator, so you can make your very own dream multi-class showdowns, pitting different vehicle types against one another.
The Race Creator also enables you to set weather conditions and time of day, add ramps and boost gates, then let loose. Check out the gameplay below for a glimpse at the game in action. GRID Legends will be coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One,and PC on 25th February 2022.
Pre-ordering GRID Legends will grant access to Seneca & Ravenwest Double Pack, which unlocks the Aston Martin Vantage GT4, Porsche 962C, Ginetta G55 GT4, and Koenigsegg Jesko for Career mode. The pack also includes exclusive Ravenwest-focused Career events and exclusive Seneca and Ravenwest team icons, liveries and banners.
Codemasters and EA are really dumb releasing this game pretty much within a week of Gran Turismo 7. They can expect sales to be heavily reduced than previous GRID games.
