Developer and self-publisher Giants Software has announced that Farming Simulator 22 has sold more than 1.5 million copies during its first week on sale, across consoles and PC. The game also includes cross-platform multiplayer, bringing more players together.
“I’m so proud! Of the team and the prospering environment it thrives in,” commented CEO Christian Ammann. “Being able to successfully build international structures to transfer an already huge series like Farming Simulator into a self-published brand with new impulses, is not to take for granted. The great collaboration with our partners ensured a fantastic launch.”
Farming Simulator 22 launched for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on 22nd November, alongside a ‘Year 1 Season Pass’, which will grant access to a glut of post-launch content. You can check out our Farming Simulator 22 review here.
