SEGA has announced that Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles has received its second free post-launch content update, introducing a further two playable demons to the game's Versus mode roster. Two characters were previously added to Versus via the first free update earlier this month.

There's Yahaba, a demon who joins forces with Susamaru - the second character included with the update - to ambush Tanjiro in Asakusa under the orders of Kibutsuji. Yahaba has an eyeball on the palm of each hand, enabling him to generate arrows that change the direction of forces, as part of his Blood Demon Art. The arrows he creates can pierce enemies or slam them into the ground, or lift rocks to throw at opponents.

Susamaru is a demon who looks like a young girl, and uses her powerful mari balls to keep opponents at a distance. This makes her particularly handy against Demon Slayer Corps who favour combat at close range. Susamaru is also incredibly mobile, able to actively move around the arena, luring in enemies who let their guard down into being subjected to combos that can deal a large amount of damage.

Content update 2 is available for free in Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, and also includes new online missions, new rewards to unlock in exchange for Kimetsu Points, and a new 60fps mode for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC versions of the game. You can take a look at new characters Yahaba and Susamaru below.
