Farming Simulator 22 is out today, bringing plenty of new features to the long-running farming series.
New seasonal farming adds unique challenges for when the winter frost and snow creeps in, while new ground working mechanics add more agricultural diversity. Players can now create their own character, and farm across three distinct maps, inspired by the south of France, the American Midwest, and the European Alpine region.
Whether players want to focus on crops, or livestock such as cows, pigs, chickens, and sheep, is up to you. There's even new beekeeping mechanics, and the option to creature vineyards or olive orchards. But whatever you choose, you'll have over 400 officially licensed farming vehicles from real brands to choose from.
“It’s an amazing accomplishment that marks a striking milestone on multiple layers of the company’s history: Farming Simulator 22 is our first and globally self-published title, it’s the most extensive entry of the series to date, and it’s the result of our huge ambitions that will nourish our plans to realize even more potential in the future. It’s not just a milestone, it’s a stepping stone, as well,” says GIANTS Software CEO Christian Ammann.
Farming Simulator 22 is out now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
