A dark fantasy “portal-hopping” platforming adventure, Unbound: Worlds Apart is set to make its way to PlayStation and Xbox in February 2022, developer Alien Pixel Studios and publisher Digerati have announced.
As young mage Soli, you'll be able to wield the power of portals at the touch of a button, opening portals and manipulating their properties to solve puzzles, overcome monsters, and ultimately prevent a “perilous evil” from tearing apart the fabric of reality.
Across several hand-drawn worlds with metroidvania mechanics, Soli will acquire ten different portals with their own attributes, whether it's the power to inverse gravity, manipulate time, or gain super strength. As your powers grow, you'll complete quests, gather ancient lore, and unravel a mystery at the heart of Unbound's fantasy world.
Unbound: Worlds Apart will be coming to PlayStation 5 and PlaySttaion 4 from 9th February 2022, before hitting Xbox on 11th February. A retail edition from Perp Games will also be heading to PS5 and PS4 at a later date. Check out the announcement trailer below.
