A new update for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy has rolled out, developer Eidos-Montréal adding a Ray Tracing Mode to its rip-roaring space adventure on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, alongside a selection of other improvements across all platforms.
Ray Tracing Mode is available via the game's Video Settings, bolstering the realism of reflections and lighting once activated on new-gen consoles. On PlayStation 4, meanwhile, performance has been improved on the original non-Pro model, in additions to adjustments to the sensitivity of the Visor input “so that controllers with more wear and tear may still detect the button press.”
A hidden 'Save Rollback' feature has also been added with the v1.05 patch for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, meaning that anyone who has run into an issue that has blocked progress, can simply rollback to the start of any chapter. You can find out more about that here.
