In 1993, I was a wide-eyed eleven-year-old, who, upon seeing Jurassic Park at the cinema for the first time, had his eyes saucer even wider in response to the prehistoric spectacle unfolding on the big screen. Decades later, the Jurassic Park has expanded into the Jurassic World, and with it has come Jurassic World Evolution – a park management sim that tasks you with marshalling dinosaurs in a bid to generate cash.
While the first game laid some strong foundations, the sequel looks to go further, adding the new Chaos Theory mode, with five scenarios based on each of the Jurassic movies to immerse yourself in. Chaos Theory gives you the chance to correct the myriad mistakes made in the films, so, if you've ever thought that you could do a better job than John Hammond at al. did in Jurassic Park, now's your chance to put your money where your mouth is.
Should you book a return trip to Jurassic World? Or is it better to be more preoccupied with whether or not you could, before you stop to think if you should?
