THQ Nordic has announced that SpellForce III Reforced has been delayed until March 2022 on consoles.
Originally due to hit PS4 and PS5 this December, SpellForce III Reforced is an upgraded version of the original 2017 PC release, and sees the RTS-RPG hybrid series making its way to consoles for the first time in its history.
Reforced updates the PC release with an enhanced campaign, featuring the improved RTS mechanics and faction designs that were first introduced in the game's expansions. It also adds reworked skill trees, and improved quests, loot distribution, balancing, and co-op. There's also bee a complete rework of the game's hub.
On top of that, SpellForce III Reforced on consoles features both enhanced UI and control schemes, that have been reworked specifically for gamepad support.
SpellForce III Reforced will now be launching on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on 8th March 2022.
