BloodRayne: ReVamped and BloodRayne 2: ReVamped finally have a release date, with the two vampire remasters coming to PS4 on 18th November 2021.
The two games, originally released on the PlayStation 2 and Xbox, come to modern platforms with a selection of modern enhancements. These include support for higher resolutions, upscaled cinematics, engine enhancements, lighting improvements, and improved effects (including reflections, water, fog, and shadows).
If you've not played them before, the BloodRayne games follow half-vampire femme fatale Rayne, as she fights Nazis and supernatural threats, uncovering more about her vampiric heritage along the way. Publisher Ziggurat Interactive also recently remastered BloodRayne Betrayal, the 2D sidescrolling spin-off, for modern consoles, and it seems the publisher is intent on reviving the franchise.
