Developer Heart Machine has announced that Solar Ash has been delayed until early December.
The follow up game from the creator of Hyper Light Drifter, Solar Ash was originally due to launch later this month, on 26th October. However, the release date has now been pushed back by just over a month, in order to ensure the best possible release for the game.
“We want Solar Ash to shine, and we need a bit more time to get the last pieces of polish and bug fixes into the game, while still navigating this global pandemic as a highly dedicated team,” said a statement from the developer. “This short delay will help us get there.”
Solar Ash was first announced at Sony's PS5 reveal event last year, and we got a first look at the game's fluid movement and action in a gameplay trailer back in February, which you can check out here.
Solar Ash is now due to release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on 2nd December 2021.
