SNK has revealed two more characters for The King of Fighters XV's 39-strong roster. The latest additions are characters 30 and 31, the former a brand new character named Isla, the latter returning stalwart, K', first introduced as the leader of the Hero Team in The King of Fighters '99.
Revealed during a Tokyo Game Show 2021 showcase, Isla boasts similar abilities to her rival Shun-ei, but is an edgy graffiti artist armed with spray cans and a mask. She also has a pair of floating purple hands that she can send flying at opponents, to do her bidding. Mostly punching and stuff.
As for K', he returns to the KOF series with the ability to manipulate fire. A modified human possessing transplanted genes from Kyo Kusanagi, K' has a “mixed personality or introversion and utter bluntness”, as he single-mindedly fights to reclaim his lost memories.
You can see both Isla and K' in action in the new character trailers below. The King of Fighters XV launches for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 17th February 2022.
