Hot Wheels Unleashed Launch Trailer is Filled with Leaps, Loops, Drifts, and Boosts

Mattel and developer Milestone have released the launch trailer for Hot Wheels Unleashed, the arcade-style racer based upon the popular die-cast toy cars, which has been around for more than 50 years.

Featuring six different venues and a slew of twisty, turny courses, built using the iconic orange plastic track pieces, Hot Wheels Unleashed has ample opportunity for daring leaps, boosts, and drifts, as well as gravity-defying loop-de-loops.

Across numerous challenges in single-player, you'll unlock new cars to add to your collection, all of which can be upgraded and customised. The game includes quick race, time attack, special challenges, and boss races, as well as secrets to uncover.

Boasting 66 cars out of the box, you can also enjoy online races for up to 12 players, 2-player local split-screen, and licensed vehicles like the Batmobile, K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider, the TMNT Party Wagon, and the Delorean from Back to the Future.

You can even create your own tracks using the intuitive and versatile Track Builder. You can find out more in our review here. Hot Wheels Unleashed launches on 30th September for  PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, while anyone with the Ultimate Stunt Edition can play now.
