Insomniac are really on fire. Miles Morales, and Rift Apart… now Spider-Man 2, and Wolverine. Most developers only manage to work on one title of this calibre at a time. Yet here they are going straight from two high quality titles, straight into two more.Thursday, September 09, 2021 @ 04:18 PM

@BobSpeed Maybe not, car manufacturers are expecting the semiconductor shortage to go until 2023, and they’re probably a higher priority for getting those chips than Sony is. Plus this pandemic isn’t showing any signs of ending soon, so supply chains will probably be fucked for most of the 2020s.

Maybe but car chips and PS5 chips are not the same thing. Everyone has their own agreements so they can’t just stop making them in favour of another customer. I expect they will adapt and things will improve. More stock will be around next year and most people who want one can get one. Not that I’m concerned, got one on launch day :)

Well, we shouldn't be surprised, should we? Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has just been announced, and its coming to PS5 in 2023.
We haven't got a lot of information, but there's plenty of details to glean from the trailer. The first of those being - we've got both Peter Parker and Miles Morales here! Which is great news, and while we can only guess, we'd assume that you'll be able to play as both heroes during the campaign.
And then there's the villains. Venom is the big name here, making a short but sweet appearance at the end of the trailer. He was teased in the previous Spider-Man games too, so it's great to see that paid off. But what about the voice over we heard? Well, it seems that classic Spider-Man villain Kraven the Hunter will also be playing a big role. Exciting stuff!
