Blending a classic RPG experience with real-time strategy, SpellForce III Reforced will be making its way to PlayStation and Xbox in December, publisher THQ Nordic has announced. Playing as both hero and general, you'll gather companions to your cause, complete quests, accumulate loot and XP, and evolve your skills.
Meanwhile, you'll have command of an expansive army, choosing the optimum tactical approach, building a base with defences, and raising funds to provide a steady influx of reinforcements to keep the enemy at bay. The console version promises “intuitive gamepad integration” and a user interface tailored for smooth control, despite the complexity of its RTS/RPG hybrid mechanics.
SpellForce III Reforced will be heading to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, on 7th December, priced $39.99/£34.99/€39.99, alongside the ‘Soul Harvest’ and ‘Fallen God’ campaign expansions (each offering about 30+ hours of single-player content) for $19.99/£15.99/€19.99 apiece. A bundle with the base game and both expansions will also be available for $59.99/€59.99.
